Singer and actress Hye-ri donated W50 million to UNICEF Korea in celebration of her birthday on Wednesday (US$1=W1,114).
The money will be used for the agency's campaign to provide teenage girls in need with sanitary and other hygiene products.
In 2019 Hye-ri donated W100 million to UNICEF's "Schools for Asia" campaign to help create a safe and clean educational environment in underdeveloped Asian countries.
