Singer Kim Soo-chan and his fans chartered a Jeju Air plane last Sunday for a meet-and-greet in the skies before returning where they had started.
Some 60 members of his fan club boarded the plane at Incheon International Airport and spent two-and-a-half hours flying over Gwangju, Yeosu and Busan while thier idol sang and danced in the aisle.
Kim became famous overnight with TV Chosun's hit reality show "Mr. Trot" last year, although he did not make into the final.
The charter reportedly cost the event planners W20 million (US$1=W1,113).
The airline said it strictly observed quarantine rules and did not provide meals or drinks.
