Kia on Monday unveiled the exterior and interior design of its first all-electric car, the EV6.

Boffins expect it to be better than parent company Hyundai's Ioniq 5, which was unveiled last month, because its maximum range is over 450 km compared to the 410-430 km of the Ioniq 5. The high-performance version can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just three seconds.

Kia modified its signature "tiger nose" grille to make it slimmer and connect the new, angular headlights in what Kia now calls the "digital tiger face."

A "panoramic curved display" on the inside gives easy access to the controls, while an ambient light function lets the driver choose the interior hue.

The automaker plans to unveil the full specs late this month, when pre-orders start.
