Son Heung-min and Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur have set a record for the most goal combinations in a single season in the English Premier League.

With his team leading 3-1 in a home match against Crystal Palace on Sunday, Son assisted Kane's goal in the 76th minute, sealing the team's 4-1 victory.

Son assisted five of Kane's goals so far this season and Kane assisted Son in nine, making 14 altogether. The duo broke the previous record of 13 set by Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton for Blackburn Rovers in the 1994-95 season.

The pair have combined for 34 goals so far at Tottenham. They now have only two goals left to tie for the record for the most goals in Premier League history held by Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, who scored 36 goals together at Chelsea.

Son has scored no goals in the league since a match against West Bromwich Albion on Feb. 7 but managed three assists.

As of Sunday, Son ranked third in the league with 13 goals and nine assists behind Kane's 16 goals and 13 assists and Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United's 16 goals and 10 assists.
