Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur posted two assists in a home match against Burnley in the English Premier League on Sunday.

Son helped his team to a 4-0 victory by twice assisting Gareth Bale in the second and 55th minutes.

After scoring the opening and winning goals, they celebrated together. Bale made a "W," for his homeland Wales, with four fingers using both hands, while Son made a "K" beside him. Asked after the game if it symbolized Korea, he said, "Yes."

Son has posted 18 goals and 15 assists in all competitions so far this season, setting a new personal record.

He has made two or more assists in a game three times in the 2020-21 season. He posted two assists against FK Shkendija in the third qualifying round of the Europa League in September last year and three against Everton in the round of 16 of the FA Cup last month. Sunday's game was the first league match in which he achieved the feat.

Tottenham, which recorded one win and five losses in its previous six matches, won a convincing victory with four goals from Bale, Harry Kane and Lucas Moura, moving up a spot in the EPL ranking to eighth with 39 points from 11 wins, six draws and eight losses.

Son will appear in an away match against Fulham on Thursday.
