Jeon Ji-hyun to Appear in Special Episode of Netflix Zombie Series

Actress Jeon Ji-hyun has been cast as the lead in a special episode of Netflix's Korean zombie series "Kingdom."

"Kingdom: Ashin of the North" revolves around her character Ashin's encounter with a group of people who traveled north to discover the origin of a plant that turns people into zombies.

The special episode is a "sidequel" to Season 2 of "Kingdom." Shooting has already begun, but the release date has not yet been confirmed.

Jeon is taking part in another TV project for the cable channel tvN. "Jirisan" is a mystery series involving park rangers and scheduled to air early next year.
