The world's fastest 5G network is Saudi Arabia's rather than Korea's, which comes second although Korea was the first country to roll it out.
According to U.K. mobile analytics company Open Signal, Korea's 5G speed clocked in at 336.1 megabits per second, which is 30 percent faster than six months ago but around 41 mbps slower than the desert kingdom's.
For availability Korea ranks a poor fifth with 22.2 percent coverage. Saudi Arabia leads with 37 percent, followed by Kuwait with just under 28 percent.
