CGV Hikes Movie Ticket Prices

      Korea's largest multiplex cinema chain CGV said Sunday that ticket prices will be raised from Oct. 26.

      CGV cited drastically reduced sales as people shunned movie theaters due to the coronavirus epidemic.

      The prices for weekday showings after 1 p.m. from Monday to Thursday will rise to W12,000 and for weekends to W13,000 (US$1=W1,146).
