Ex-Speed Skater Viktor Ahn to Coach Chinese National Team

Six-time Olympic gold medalist Viktor Ahn has been appointed the coach of the Chinese national short track speed skating team.

"Ahn left for China after accepting an offer from the Chinese Skating Association. He is currently quarantining himself in Qingdao, Shandong Province," a source said on Monday.

Ahn announced his retirement from the sport in April. He said he made the decision as he could not continue to train any longer due to permanent knee pain.
