Gov't Extends Global Travel Advisory for Another Month

The government on Wednesday extended its travel advisory by another month as COVID-19 cases surge in the country and abroad.

The advisory asks citizens to avoid traveling overseas and to take extra precautionary measures if they are abroad.

It will stay in place until Sept. 18. This is the fourth extension of the advisory, which was first issued back on March 23.
