More than 1,100 people in North Korea have been tested for coronavirus as of July 9 and all of them tested negative, according to claims from the regime published by the World Health Organization.
The WHO's North Korea representative Edwin Salvador said Monday that 610 North Koreans are still in quarantine, all of them working either at Nampo port or in the border town of Sinuiju across from China's Dandong.
The number of people in quarantine has increased from around 250 in June due to the rising number of goods imported into the North.
North Korea still claims it has had zero cases of coronavirus.
