N.Korea Claims to Have Developed COVID-19 Vaccine

North Korea claims it started clinical trials of its own coronavirus vaccine earlier this month.

State media reports on Saturday claimed that scientists at the North's State Commission of Science and Technology are conducting clinical trials after confirming the immunogenicity and safety of the vaccine through animal tests.

The North insists there are zero COVID-19 cases in the backward country.
