Korea's beaches will be subject to strict social distancing as the coronavirus epidemic shows no signs of ending.

Parasols must be set up 2-4 meters apart along the beaches to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Beaches in Busan opened to vacationers on Wednesday.

Health authorities also decided to allow space on the sand for only those who have made reservations in advance this summer. They urged beachgoers to comply with social distancing rules.
