The eccentric ex-NBA star Dennis Rodman has recalled a "wild night of hotties and vodka" with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un that he claims occurred when he visited North Korea for the first time in 2013.

The fading TV personality, milking his acquaintance with Kim for its last drops of publicity, recalled the event on ex-boxer and convicted rapist Mike Tyson's "HotBoxin'" podcast last week.

Rodman admitted that he was only a substitute for NBA legend Michael Jordan, whom Kim had invited originally.

"I'm thinking I'm going to do an autograph show or play basketball," Rodman said. "I ain't know anything about North Korea." When they met after a basketball game, Kim told him, "We asked Michael Jordan to come but he wouldn't come so we asked you."

But the two men quickly bonded over their shared love of the game, and then Kim invited him to his home for a wild party, Rodman claimed. "Let's have dinner tonight. A little karaoke and have some fucking vodka, you know, hot totties and stuff," Rodman quoted Kim as saying.

"Next thing I know, we are having dinner and we are shootin' the shit and get drunk as shit... and he starts singing karaoke and I have no clue what the fuck he's talking about," Rodman recalled.

"Then an 18-piece band of women came out, and they were hot-hot... and the whole time they played one song -- it was the fuckin theme from [the TV show] 'Dallas,'" he added.

But Rodman insisted he only went to North Korea to "bring sports." "The politics, I don't get involved with that."
