The government has launched a crackdown on hoarders of masks and hand sanitizers amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The Finance Ministry said Wednesday that vendors who keep on hand more than 150 percent of their average monthly sales volume of these products for more than five days could face up to two years in jail or a fine of up to W50 million (US$1=W1,186).

The outbreak has caused demand for masks and sanitizers to skyrocket.
The crackdown will continue until the end of April.
