Korea beat China 1-0 in the team's second match of the E-1 Football Championship in Busan on Sunday.
The biennial football tournament organized by the East Asian Football Federation features men's and women's teams from four East Asian countries, and runs until Wednesday.
Korean defender Kim Min-jae scored the only goal of the match with a header off a corner kick from Ju Se-jong. Korea led throughout the game but failed to score again despite firing 16 shots at the goal.

In the opener last Wednesday, it defeated Hong Kong 2-0 and Sunday's win took its tally to six points and three goals.
Japan has also recorded two wins, with six points and six goals. Korea must defeat Japan in the final on Wednesday to claim its third straight title.
Earlier in the day, meanwhile, the Korean women's team defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0, posting their first win in two matches under English head coach Colin Bell.
Kang Chae-rim scored twice, in the 29th minute and 70th minute, to claim her first international goals. Jung Seol-bin added a goal in the 88th minute.
The women's team, which has four points, will play Japan (six points) for the championship title on Tuesday.
