Veteran Cha Du-ri Takes Helm of FC Seoul's Junior Team

Former Korean football star and national team coach Cha Du-ri took the helm of FC Seoul's junior team on Thursday.

Cha played for a number of European clubs including SC Freiburg and Fortuna Düsseldorf in Germany's Bundesliga as well as Celtic in the Scottish Premier League and the Seoul club in the K-League.

After retiring as a player in 2015, he served as a national team coach.

"We expect Cha will nurture our young talents with the know-how that he has acquired in Germany," FC Seoul said.
