Actor Kim Woo-bin will resume his acting career with an event to meet fans next month, after a sudden hiatus for two years and six months due to illness.
He was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017 and had been treated.
His management agency said on Wednesday he will hold the event on Dec. 8 in Seoul to thank fans for their support, while he was fighting the cancer.
"Kim is holding the event to give fans an honest account of his recovery along with his future plans," the agency added.
He made his first public appearance since his recovery as a presenter at the annual Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony last week.
