Korean women footballers were called up on Tuesday for training ahead of the upcoming FIFA Women’s World Cup. The tournament is set to kick off its month-long run in France on June 7.
Manager Yoon Duk-yeo will announce his final 23-player roster after 10 day's of training until May 17.
The squad leaves for Sweden on May 22 for two matches -- an unofficial practice game and a final friendly -- before heading to France on June 2.

Although grouped with strong teams such as France, Nigeria and Norway, Yoon and the players are working hard to reach the round of 16 for the second time in a row.
Korea will play their first group match against the host country on the opening day. It will be a great challenge for Korea as France is ranked No. 4 in the world rankings. They have greater hopes of beating Nigeria (No. 38) in their second match on June 11 and score points in their third match against Norway (No. 12) on June 17.
