Hyundai's premium brand Genesis launched its G90 luxury sedan on Tuesday.
The carmaker said it plans to release the G90, a face-lifted version of the EQ900, in Canada, the Middle East, Russia, the U.S. and other global markets from early next year.
It aims to complete the Genesis lineup by 2021 consisting of three models of sedans and SUVs each.
Hyundai has received some 6,713 pre-orders for the G90 since Nov. 12. That is more than 10 times the EQ900's monthly sales average of 669 cars for the first 10 months of this year.
