A couple of planned cross-border projects and events agreed at the inter-Korean summit in Pyongyang in September have been delayed or canceled.
The two Koreas agreed to conduct on-site inspections of railways in North Korea in late October, and that Seoul would host a concert by a North Korean troupe in the same month, but neither of them materialized.
Meanwhile, plans to have some 150 South Korean businessmen inspect the North's shuttered Kaesong Industrial Complex have been delayed indefinitely.
The delays and cancellations seem to reflect U.S. concerns over the lack of progress in North Korea's denuclearization.
