Actor Jung Suk-won Arrested on Drug Charges

Actor Jung Suk-won, the husband of singer Baek Ji-young, was arrested at Incheon International Airport on his way home from Australia last Thursday on drug charges.

Seoul police said Jung was charged with taking crystal meth in a club in Melbourne, Australia. Police had been tipped off before he arrived in Korea.

Jung admitted the charges but told police he took the drug "out of curiosity." Police released him after a day of questioning saying that it is his first offense and he presents no flight risk.
