Most human resources managers believe people who do not show up for job interviews are the worst job candidates, a recent survey shows.

Job portal Job Korea asked 332 HR managers about who they think are the worst job candidates, and 60.5 percent of them cited those who do not show up for their interviews.

Some 37.4 percent singled out candidates who apply for a job without basic information about the company, and 24.1 percent those who show an insincere attitude.

Asked about what they do when they find job candidates unsuitable during an interview, 39.4 percent said they still ask all of their prepared questions. Some 24.8 percent said they lose interest, while 8.7 percent said they ask more questions, hoping to find the candidate's good qualities.

Some 5.9 percent said they reject such candidates but point out their flaws and offer advice on how to fix them.
