Amore Pacific chairman Suh Kyung-bae was named one of the world's 20th best-performing CEOs by U.S. magazine Harvard Business Review. Suh was ranked 20th on the list and second among Asian CEOs.
This year's list was based on evaluations of some 898 CEOs of 887 companies around the world.
Pablo Isla of Inditex, which owns a number of retail chains including Zara, was at the top of the list. The runner-up was British businessman Martin Sorrell, who runs global advertising and PR agency WPP.
Suh is the only Korean included in the top 100, and the second highest in Asia only to Hisashi Ietsugu of a Japanese healthcare company Sysmex, who ranked 18th.
