Sales of travel-related products are rising sharply ahead of the week-long break in early May.
Superstore chain E-Mart said on Monday that sales of travel bags in the last two weeks were up 55 percent from a year earlier, and those of outdoor products rose by 24 percent.

The same trend was observed at department stores, where sales of travel bags and swimsuits increased 9 percent on-year, while sunglasses saw a 7 percent rise.
Some 1 million people in total are expected to travel abroad early next month.
