President Park Geun-hye's approval rating remained at a record-low five percent for a second week, according to a Gallup Korea poll of 1,003 people last week.
The proportion of respondents with negative views of Park rose from 89 percent last week to a record 90 percent.
Among people in their 20 her approval rating was zero, and among 30- and 40-somethings a mere three percent.
Six percent in their 50s and 13 percent over 60 still supported the president.
The record-low approval rating has intensified the dilemma for Cheong Wa Dae.
Park has already apologized twice for the influence peddling scandal that has paralyzed her government, but to no avail.
This weekend saw up to 1 million protesters hit the streets of Seoul to call for her resignation.
