North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has resurfaced after 11 days out of the public eye. The official [North] Korean Central News Agency on Tuesday said Kim visited a newly opened ophthalmology hospital in Pyongyang.
The last time Kim appeared in the state media was on Oct. 7, when he visited a souvenir factory in Pyongyang, but he was nowhere to be seen at the Workers Party's anniversary on Oct. 10.

No explanation was given for his absence.
KNCA reported that Kim visited the hospital when it was under construction in May and ordered its completion to coincide with the Party's anniversary.
