Uhm Jung-hwa to Release New Album After Long Break

Singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa is set to return to the stage after an eight-year absence from the music scene.

Uhm signed a contract with Mystic Entertainment to release a new album and has been preparing for a year. She is now putting the final touches on the album.

This will be Uhm's first album since her mini album in 2008. Uhm is better known as an actress recently after appearing in several films, but she used to be a singer with a number of hit songs, enjoying huge popularity in the 1990s.

Uhm's new album is likely to include a track featuring singer Lee Hyo-ri who is taking a break from showbiz after marriage.
