Lee Young-ae Donates Money to Earthquake Victims in Ecuador

Actress Lee Young-ae donated US$50,000 to help earthquake victims in Ecuador (US$1=W1,151).

According to the Korea International Cooperation Agency on Tuesday, Lee made the donation to the agency to help the victims of earthquakes which killed hundreds last week.

"She wanted to send support to victims in Ecuador as they try to overcome the damage caused by the earthquakes," an agency staffer said. "We transferred the money to the Embassy of Ecuador in Seoul."
