Sales of Hyundai's latest large sedan Genesis surpassed over 100,000 units. The automaker said Wednesday that it sold some 105,915 units of Genesis home and abroad, just 18 months after its launch in November 2013.
"It achieved the feat faster than any of Hyundai's other large sedans," a spokesman at Hyundai said.
In the U.S., the Genesis ranked third behind the BMW 5 Series and the Mercedes-Benz E Class in the midsize luxury sedan market, with sales of around 28,236 units last year.
