Hye-ri of girl group Girls Day will receive a plaque of appreciation from the minister of employment and labor for raising awareness of the minimum wage.
She receives the award Thursday.
In a recent commercial on job portal Albamon, she reminds employers that the minimum wage in Korea is W5,580 (US$1=W1,102).
