Men Are from Mars, Women from Venus in Smartphone Use

Men mostly listen to music on their smartphones while women mostly take selfies with them, a straw poll suggests.

Online shopping mall Auction polled 925 people and found that, bar Internet searches, the most popular use of smartphones for men is listening to music with 52 percent, and for women taking selfies with 51 percent.

Men next favor playing games (18 percent), taking photos (16 percent) and watching TV (12 percent). But for women, listing to music comes next (25 percent), followed by games (11 percent) and watching TV (nine percent).
