More than 100,000 job seekers have applied for Samsung Group's open recruitment drive in the first half of this year. Of them, 80,000 applied for permanent jobs and the rest internships.
Samsung plans to hire 4,000 to 5,000 new recruits including interns, meaning that only one in 20 applicants will be successful.
