President Park Geun-hye will visit the Belgium, France and the U.K. on Nov. 2-8, Cheong Wa Dae said Wednesday.
It will be Park's fifth overseas trip since her inauguration.
She will meet her French counterpart François Hollande to discuss trade and investment, lay the framework for cooperation in science and technology, and expand cultural and educational exchanges, presidential spokeswoman Kim Haeng said.
She then heads to the U.K. for a state visit at the invitation of Queen Elizabeth II. It will only be the second state visit by the Korean president to the island country in 130 years of diplomatic ties. The first was President Roh Moo-hyun's in 2004.
