The official emblem and mascots of the 2014 Incheon Asian Para Games were unveiled on Monday.
The emblem, which embodies the multi-colored flame of the Games' torch, signifies athletes' passion, challenging spirit and the united power of Asia.
The two mascots, Jeonopi and Dnopi, were designed to resemble the black-faced spoonbill, an endangered bird designated for special protection by the government.
The Incheon Asian Para Games will take place from Oct. 18 to 24 next year. Some 6,000 athletes and staff from 42 countries are expected, which would make this the largest international sporting event for athletes with disabilities ever held in Asia.
