Hyundai Motor on Monday unveiled a new infotainment system produced in cooperation with Apple at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Hyundai demonstrated the in-car Blue Link and UVO telematics system that allows users to use information technologies while traveling.

It features Apple's Siri voice-recognition program and is not yet commercially available.

The devices allow users to enjoy a variety of information and entertainment in the vehicle using mobile gadgets like smartphones.

Hyundai is the 10th carmaker to use Siri, which Apple unveiled in June last year. Others include GM, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Toyota.

Meanwhile, Hyundai and affiliate Kia recently announced plans to produce vehicles equipped with an infotainment system using the latest Google Maps, starting with the Sorento this year.

Hyundai is apparently cooperating with both Apple and Google in order to stay abreast of trends.
