Samsung Electronics announced on Tuesday that its home appliances will be sold at Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement and construction products retailer.

Yoon Boo-keun, chief of the Korean company's consumer electronics business, signed an agreement with Home Depot CEO Frank Blake in Atlanta on Sunday (local time).

Samsung will supply a range of products such as refrigerators, washing machines, electric ovens, microwaves and dish washers in over 2,000 of the retailer's stores in North America.

With this deal, Samsung now has partnerships with all four major distributors of home appliances in North America, following similar agreements with BestBuy in 2003, Lowe's in 2005 and Sears in 2007.
