The sky above the Han River in Seoul will light up with spectacular fireworks for two hours from 7:30 p.m. on Saturday as the capital celebrates the opening of its annual fireworks festival.
Now in its 10th year, the Seoul International Fireworks Festival has drawn over one million visitors per year on average.
This year, artists from Korea, China, Italy and the U.S. will put on spectacular shows featuring around 120,000 fireworks at the Han River Park in Yeouido. A fountain-themed display will also be presented for the first time.
