Chanel plans to withdraw its fragrances and cosmetics from the in-flight duty-free market from next year, industry sources said on Sunday.
The French luxury brand reportedly made the decision due to what it sees as conflicts between in-flight retail sales and its brand policy.
Taken aback by Chanel's unilateral decision, airline companies said that the firm apparently does not appreciate the true value of the airline retail business.
