The government is reducing the compulsory training hours to obtain a driver's license to two days.
Starting June 10, students registering with professional driving institutions will need to train for only eight hours, down from the current 25, to qualify for the license.
The eight-hour training will comprise six lessons on vehicle functions and two hours of on-road driving.
Learning drivers will also be allowed to train for a maximum of four hours a day, up from the current three, which means the training course can be completed in as fast as two days.
