Lee to Meet Separately with 8 G20 Leaders

President Lee Myung-bak plans to hold one-on-one meetings with the leaders of eight countries including U.S. President Barack Obama during the G20 Summit in Seoul on Nov. 11 and 12, a Cheong Wa Dae official said Tuesday.

Japan is not one of them because Lee plans to meet Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan on the sidelines of the APEC Summit in Yokohama the next day.

"There are continuing requests for summit talks, but there is not a lot of time," the official said. "We're looking into accommodating more meetings by shortening other itineraries."
