The South Korean government said it has secured one thousand doses of flu vaccine to provide to North Korean workers at the Kaesong Industrial Complex.
The Unification Ministry said it will take necessary steps to provide the antiviral medication to the North if asked by Pyongyang. The ministry also said it will lease two thermal cameras to the North at its request.
Earlier this month a South Korean man working at the complex was diagnosed with H1N1 flu, the first reported case of the virus in North Korea.
Some 40,000 North Koreans currently work at the joint industrial park.
