More Than 100,000 People Commute by KTX per Day

The government says there were about 38 million passengers on the bullet train or KTX last year, a 1.9 percent increase from 2007.

Daily commuters totaled more than 100,000, a 16.7 percent rise since 2005. There were 450,000 more travelers in the latter half of 2008 compared to the first half in the wake of high oil prices.
