SK Telecom to Provide WiBro Service in Jordan
Korea's leading mobile phone operator SK Telecom will launch wireless broadband internet service in Jordan next month.

The Korea Communication Commission said Wednesday that SK Telecom has signed a contract worth US$7 million with Jordan to supply the country with WiBro service-related equipment and maintenance.

The company is poised to provide WiBro to the capital Amman in May and to add more areas in the future. This is SK Telecom's first WiBro service outside Korea, and SK Telecom is the first telecom here to tap into the Middle Eastern market.

WiBro provides high-speed internet connections even when the user is on the go.
