French First Lady Commemorates Brother
|
France's first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy attends the first Virginio Bruni-Tedeschi sailing trophy at Le Levandou in Cavaliere, southern France on Monday. It commemorates her brother, who died of AIDS in 2006 aged 46. The Bruni family has been involved in the fight against the disease since his death, and the former model and pop singer began serving as a global ambassador for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria last year.
