Married women who work are more satisfied with their life than their unmarried counterparts, a straw poll suggests. Job portal Career polled 868 salaried women on Mar. 7-23 and said Sunday married respondents were more satisfied with their life, giving it 61 out of 100 points, than their unmarried counterparts, who gave it 47 points.
Married respondents cited stability of their personal life and economic security due to a double income.
Among obstacles to happiness, 52 percent of married women cited lack of free time and 48 percent lack of family time.
