Korea's Labor Productivity Still Ranks Low

Koreans Work Longest Hours in the World
A recent survey by the Korea Productivity Center shows the country's labor productivity was one of the lowest among 30 OECD nations.

According to a report by the center, the added value produced by one worker in Korea equals roughly US$51,000, while in countries like Luxembourg the amount is around $118,000.

Luxembourg came first followed by Norway, Ireland and the U.S. Korea ranked 23rd, the same ranking as last year, while Japan did a little better at 21.
