With the conflict between Israel and Palestine ongoing, The Foreign Ministry has upgraded its warning to Korean citizens travelling to the region.
A warning on travelling within 40 km of Gaza in Israel has been upgraded to the third stage, which asks citizens to reconsider their need to travel there.
The ministry says an average of about 50 to 70 rockets have been hitting the southern region of Israel near Gaza every day.
This third stage warning has been in effect on Gaza itself since 2006.
The ministry says it believes there are no Korean citizens in the affected regions but it will keep a close eye on the situation.
