Some 150 photos and 40 video clips taken by photographers and cameramen in the U.S. Army during the Korean War have been released on the Internet.

The Installation Management Command Korea (IMCOM-K) received the data from the archive of the U.S. Defense Department and put them on its website, the Stars and Stripes military daily reported Tuesday.

The pictures and the clips show Seoul in ruins and South Korean and U.S. soldiers at the scenes of battle. There are pictures of Gen. Douglas McArthur visiting the war front, and of Bob Hope and Marilyn Monroe, who came to entertain the soldiers. The video collection contains clips of fierce battles during the war and the lives of Koreans after the war.
