Samsung Electronics announced Sunday that it has sold more than 10 million full-touch screen phones last year.
Considering that market research firm Strategy Analytics estimated the size of the global full-touch screen phone market to be around 37 million handsets last year, one in four consumers in the world who bought such a phone purchased a Samsung product.
Most of SamsungĄ¯s full-touch screen phones were sold in Europe, with over 4 million units, followed by 2.2 million in the United States, 1.12 million in Korea and 910,000 in China.
